Big Hearts is incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our Winter Appeal so far in 2025, helping the unsung heroes who are caring for a loved one this Christmas.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out:
- Radio Forth Cash for Kids: Our long-term partner who continue to support our charity this winter by providing food vouchers for our young programme participants.
- SPFL Trust Festive Friends: Thanks to this continued support, we have once again provided hot meals and entertainment to isolated people across our Warm Welcome and Memories programmes.
- Tesco Corstorphine, Prospect Community Housing, Corstorphine Lodge 788, Lodge 832 Heart of Midlothian, the staff and customers at the Silverwing Bar, Ryan, George & Christine - Big Hearts Supporters, and participants and volunteers from our Big Hearts Memories group: All very kindly donated hampers, selection boxes and other chocolate gifts for Big Hearts' project participants and partners.
- Amazon UK Edinburgh Customer Service Centre, Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, Fox & Co. Caterers, Love Holidays and PPE Industrial Supplies Ltd: who have generously donated items for our Winter Prize Draw and Winter Auction.

Changing lives with big hearts
Our charity strives to empower adults and children to lead a fulfilling life. But we can’t do it alone.
This December, you did such a special thing. You showed us just how BIG your heart is with your kind support to our Big Hearts Winter appeal.
You showed that you care for the members of our community in need of support during the festive season. We are grateful to count you as a member of our amazing community of Big Hearts supporters.
With your support, Big Hearts is providing practical and emotional relief, and spreading festive cheer across the community.

Here’s some of the tangible difference you help us make:
- Over 200 young people finding at least one present specially chosen for them under the Christmas tree
- Over 300 households equipped with crisis vouchers to purchase groceries, gifts or warm winter clothes

Over 1,500 free delicious hot Christmas dinners offered to vulnerable members of our community

375 selection boxes received and shared with participants, families, and partners across our groups
- Thank you once again for playing a vital part in spreading kindness across the community this Christmas.
