A free weekly lunch for those living, working or studying locally
Warm Welcome Lunch invites people from our local community to come together for free hot bowl food, in a warm space with lovely company.
The lunch was introduced in 2022, as part of a package of winter support for vulnerable and socially isolated people within our communities, in response to the cost-of-living crisis.
Project times and info:
- Wednesdays from 12pm - 2pm
- 1874 Fans Bar, Tynecastle Park, MacLeod Street, EH11 2NZ
- Everyone welcome
- No registration required
The outcomes we aim to achieve:
- to increase access to hot meals for people in the local community.
- to give an increased sense of purpose and togetherness.
- to help provide access to additional support to those in attendance.
