Big Hearts, the charity of Heart of Midlothian FC, is delighted to welcome participants back to our Autism and Neurodiversity Football programme as the new school term has resumed.
Thanks to renewed funding from Theorise Limited, their continued support helps our charity continue to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for neurodiverse young people at Tynecastle Park.
The programme has gone from strength to strength over the past year, with participation doubling from 12 to 24 young people. The growth reflects increasing demand from families seeking opportunities where children and young people can enjoy playing football, build confidence, and make new friends.

It’s heartening to see families recognise the positive impact on their children’s participation in sport. We are so grateful to Dany and the team at Theorise for renewing their support for a second year, and enabling more neurodiverse young people to enjoy inclusive football through Big Hearts.”

Big Hearts’ Autism and Neurodiversity Football programme is currently operating at full capacity, with a waiting list in place, demonstrating the growing need for inclusive sporting opportunities across Edinburgh and beyond.
