Big Hearts: Achieves the Quality in Befriending Award

Big Hearts Community Trust is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Quality in Befriending (QiB) Award in recognition of our outstanding commitment to building meaningful friendships and strong connections within our community.

This award is the only award in the UK which is specifically tailored for befriending services and is valued by referrers, befrienders, commissioners and funders and promotes good practice within the Sector.

Our charity is extremely proud to have gained this award and it is a testament to the dedication, compassion, and the positive impact our Volunteer Befrienders have made on the lives of many individuals.

Amanda Farquhar, Big Hearts’ Head of Delivery said“We are absolutely delighted to have been successful in receiving the Quality in Befriending Award. It is a huge achievement for Big Hearts and recognises the growing success of the project.

It’s a reflection of our collective staff and volunteer efforts to strive for excellence and achieve even greater success in the future to achieve our mission and make a positive impact in the community!”
