Big Hearts is thrilled to finally reveal that our fundraiser for this year’s Big Hearts Day will focus on our Welcome Through Football project.
Big Hearts has been supporting refugees and asylum seeking young people in Edinburgh since 2017.
Last summer, Tynecastle Park became the first football ground in Scotland delivering ‘Welcome Through Football’, joining 8 other Clubs from 6 countries.
Our 6th Big Hearts Day will take place on Saturday 19th March, as Heart of Midlothian FC welcomes Livingston FC to Gorgie.
Hearts fans and Big Hearts Supporters are encouraged to support our charity’s work if they can.
**Donate to our Refugee Fundraiser**
A part of the funds raised will be donated to the EFDN ‘Emergency Ukraine Appeal’.
The event will kick-off our charity’s participation in the ‘More Than Football Action Weeks’, a campaign led by the European Football for Development Network – our lead partner in Welcome Through Football.
