1998 Scottish Cup Winner Thomas Flögel will headline the 2026 Big Hearts Gala: the charity’s signature event for all associated with Heart of Midlothian FC.
A fan favourite and former Austrian International, Thomas Flögel will show his support to Big Hearts as he returns to Tynecastle Park on 25 September to headline the Big Hearts Gala in the Gorgie suite.

Originally signed by Jim Jefferies, Thomas Flögel was a classy player, who soon understood what playing in Scotland and at Hearts was all about. He went on to do so with distinction across his five years in maroon. In 2002, after 164 appearances and playing just about every position on the pitch when required, Thomas departed Hearts as a Club Legend.
The Big Hearts Gala has become a key-date in the Hearts calendar, with previous headliners including Paul Hartley, Mark de Vries, Saulius Mikoliūnas and Antti Niemi. Thomas Flögel’s presence on the evening brings excitement to an already unforgettable night filled with entertainment, delicious food and meaningful moments in support of our charity’s mission: changing lives through football.
