Craig Gordon’s Testimonial Committee has announced their chosen charity partner as Big Hearts Community Trust, the charity of Heart of Midlothian FC.
The testimonial year is set to celebrate Craig Gordon’s extraordinary career and contribution to Hearts, Scotland and the beautiful game, with a series of events kicking off on Saturday 26th July, with Hearts v Sunderland at Tynecastle Park.
Big Hearts Staff and Volunteers will join the celebration before the game, with a host of pre-match activities at the Foundation Plaza from 2pm.
Visiting Big Hearts’ Football Memories project last month, Craig Gordon said: “I have witnessed first hand how Big Hearts help many groups across the community and encourage football fans to help others through volunteering. I’m proud to support the outstanding work of the charity, which is a testament to what football can achieve off the pitch.”
