Tynecastle Foodbank Collection – 27th November, 12.30pm – 3pm

Our annual foodbank collection in aid of Community One Stop Shop, the local foodbank in Broomhouse, will take place on Saturday 27th November prior to the Hearts vs St Mirren game.

Big Hearts, Jambos Kickback and Heart of Midlothian are once again joining forces to collect donations of non-perishable food items on the day.

The main drop-off points will be at the Foundation Plaza (McLeod Street) and Wheatfield Street. Big Hearts and Community One Stop Shop Volunteers will be on hand from 12.30pm until kick-off at 3pm. Items urgently needed: toiletries (soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner…), nappies (all sizes), biscuits, UHT milk, cereals and tinned puddings (fruit, rice pudding…).

We encourage all Hearts fans to get involved and help hundreds of local families who will struggle to get essential food supplies during the winter. Community One Stop Shop feeds an average of 400 people every month, and a significant increase is expected over the festive season and well into the New Year.

Thanks to Jambos Kickback, who are covering all service fees, Hearts supporters can also donate online on this link until 4th December. This means 100% of every pound raised will enable the foodbank to buy additional supplies including fresh fruits and bread.

Any donation will make such a difference to local families in crisis when Christmas time comes. A huge thank you in advance for your support!
