Big Hearts is delighted to announce the outstanding success of our 2025 Big Hearts Gala, which welcomed 270 guests for an inspiring evening celebrating the lives transformed through our charity’s work.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, we raised an incredible £39,097, as we welcomed football legends, charity heroes, and supporters to celebrate our milestone year — marking a decade of supporting groups and families most in need.
Big Hearts is honoured to be the charity of Heart of Midlothian Football Club, recognised and trusted for our role in driving social change across Edinburgh and Scottish football.
All funds raised at our 5th Gala, through ticket sales, raffle and auction, will go directly towards supporting older fans who are feeling isolated or living with dementia, and to create cherished memories and new friendships through football.
As our most prestigious event of the year, we were thrilled to welcome Deone Gillespie as our new co-host, joining Tynecastle Park’s very own Scott Wilson, to guide our guests through an unforgettable evening of reflection and celebration of their Club’s charity.
One of the evening’s highlights was welcoming former Hearts players José Quitongo, Julien Brellier, and Antti Niemi back to Gorgie, where they supported Big Hearts while reminiscing and sharing memorable stories from their time in maroon.
