Good luck to the team running at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival!

Over the weekend, Big Hearts and Save the Children’s team will compete in the 5K, 10K and half-marathon races of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival!

For our first ever participation at the EMF, Scotland’s largest running event, we are very proud to see 25 runners facing the challenge in support of both Heart of Midlothian’s partner charities.

The team has trained regularly over the last months, with a Wednesday training group meeting at Tynecastle and weekend park runs around Arthur’s seat. Runners have also demonstrated amazing efforts in raising funds, those will be split 50/50 between Big Hearts Community Trust and Save the Children Scotland.

We wish the team best of luck for Saturday & Sunday! We know for certain they will cross the finish line with flying colours!
