The award-winning charity of Heart of Midlothian football club is welcoming five new directors to their Board.
Stephan Briggs (Exited Founder), Chris Bruce (Managing Director, LANE), David Gray (Group Bid Excellence Director, MITIE), Amy Paterson (Head of Consumer Credit Solutions, AXA) and Adrian White (Finance Director, FNZ) joined Big Hearts Community Trust in the summer.
The new Trustees bring a wealth of expertise in finance, governance, digital and marketing to strengthen the charity’s capacity for sustainable growth and lasting social impact.
Big Hearts aims to change lives through football. Based in the Wheatfield Stand at Tynecastle Park, the charity runs free activities supporting all generations around mental health, social connections and equality.
Commenting on joining Big Hearts, the newly appointed Trustees said:
“Having been a Hearts supporter for as long as I can remember I was delighted to help Big Hearts build their first website over a decade ago. I’ve long admired the charity’s ability to turn constraints and challenges into opportunity and impact within the community. Now, as a Trustee I’m looking to bring an entrepreneurial mindset to the Big Hearts Board to deliver even more value to the communities whom they serve.” – Stephan Briggs
